- Sightable Membership
Sightable offers different membership pathways designed around different levels of existing knowledge and stages of the retirement planning journey.
These currently include:
Sightable Core – for people who already have a good understanding of the fundamentals and want to use Sightable’s modelling and support framework to explore their own retirement.
Sightable Accumulation – for people who are still building retirement wealth and want structured education, modelling and support to help them develop their retirement plan.
Sightable Decumulation – for people approaching or already in retirement who want structured education, modelling and support focused on turning accumulated wealth into a sustainable retirement plan.
The content and features included within each pathway are described on the Sightable website at the time of purchase.
Certain services, including one-to-one guidance, are optional and purchased separately unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Choosing Your Pathway
Sightable may provide tools or information to help you identify which membership pathway appears most appropriate based on your existing knowledge and stage of retirement planning.
These tools are intended to help you choose between Sightable’s educational pathways. They do not constitute financial advice or an assessment of the suitability of any financial product, investment or course of action.
You are responsible for choosing the membership pathway you wish to purchase.
- Membership Fees
The price of your membership will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
Our current initial membership prices are:
- Sightable Core – £395
- Sightable Accumulation – £695
- Sightable Decumulation – £695
Prices may change from time to time. Any change to the price of a new membership will not affect a purchase you have already completed.
Where your membership is subject to renewal, the applicable renewal price and renewal arrangements will be explained before you purchase.
- Membership Period and Renewal
Your initial Sightable membership lasts for 12 months from the date your membership begins, unless otherwise stated when you purchase.
During this period, you will have access to the content and services included within your membership, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Your membership will automatically renew for further 12-month periods at the applicable renewal price unless you turn off automatic renewal before your renewal date.
The current standard annual renewal price is £195, irrespective of pathway, unless a different renewal price is stated when you purchase.
We will make the automatic renewal arrangements clear before you purchase and will send you appropriate notice before renewal.
You may turn off automatic renewal at any time before your renewal date. Doing so will not end your current membership early; you will continue to have access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If we intend to change the price payable on your next renewal, we will tell you in advance and give you the opportunity to cancel renewal.
- Changing Pathway
You may change to a different Sightable pathway during your membership where the relevant upgrade is available.
Current standard upgrade prices are:
- Core to Accumulation – £300
- Core to Decumulation – £300
- Accumulation to Decumulation – £50
- Decumulation to Accumulation – £50
Any amount payable will be shown before you confirm the change.
Upgrade prices may change from time to time. Any change will not affect an upgrade you have already purchased.
Changing pathway gives you access to the content associated with your new pathway but does not restart or extend your existing membership period unless we expressly tell you otherwise.
The Sightable 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee described in Section 21 applies to your initial membership purchase and does not restart or apply again when you change pathway.
- Household Use and Your Account
Your Sightable membership is intended for your personal or household use.
You may involve your spouse or partner in your retirement planning and may use Sightable together where you are planning your finances as a household.
Your membership must not be shared with friends, wider family members, colleagues or other third parties, and your login details must not be made generally available to others.
Where you use Sightable jointly with a spouse or partner, you remain responsible for your account and for activity carried out through it.
You are responsible for keeping your login information secure.
If you believe someone else has gained unauthorised access to your account, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may take reasonable steps to protect the security of Sightable, including requiring you to reset login credentials or temporarily restricting access where we reasonably suspect unauthorised use.
- Access to Sightable
We aim to make Sightable available on a continuous basis, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Access may occasionally be restricted because of maintenance, updates, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may make reasonable changes to the design, functionality, content and delivery of Sightable as the service develops.
Where we make a significant change that materially reduces the service you have purchased, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and will respect any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
- Educational Content
Sightable educational content is provided to improve your understanding of retirement planning, financial modelling and related financial concepts.
The content is not personal financial advice and should not be treated as a recommendation for you to take a particular financial action.
Examples, case studies, portfolios, assumptions and financial scenarios used within Sightable are provided for educational or illustrative purposes.
Financial, tax and pension rules can change. Although we take reasonable steps to keep Sightable’s curated educational material current, we do not guarantee that every item will always reflect the latest law, regulation, taxation or financial practice.
- Financial Modelling
Sightable enables members to build and explore financial models based on their own circumstances.
Financial models are illustrative. They depend on the information and assumptions entered and are not predictions or guarantees of future outcomes.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for deciding which assumptions and scenarios you wish to explore.
You should not treat the output from a financial model as a guarantee that a particular outcome will occur.
- VoyantGo
Where included within your membership, Sightable provides access to VoyantGo financial modelling software.
VoyantGo is third-party software provided by Voyant. Your use of VoyantGo may also be subject to terms, policies or technical requirements imposed by Voyant.
We do not own or control VoyantGo and cannot guarantee its uninterrupted availability or that particular functionality will remain unchanged.
We provide training, educational material and support relating to VoyantGo as part of Sightable.
If Voyant materially changes, restricts or withdraws its service for reasons outside our reasonable control, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and, where appropriate, identify an alternative way of delivering the relevant part of the Sightable service.
- Intelligent Modelling Support
Sightable’s Intelligent Modelling Support (IMS) is an AI-powered support tool designed around the Sightable framework.
IMS can help explain financial planning concepts, interpret modelling outputs, assist with navigation of VoyantGo and help you explore assumptions and scenarios.
IMS does not provide regulated financial advice or personal recommendations.
Artificial intelligence is not infallible. IMS may occasionally produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or inappropriate to particular circumstances.
You should use IMS to support your understanding and exploration rather than treating its responses as authoritative instructions.
You must not deliberately use IMS to generate unlawful, abusive or harmful material, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to underlying systems or use it in a way that breaches these Terms & Conditions.
- One-to-One Guidance
Sightable offers optional one-to-one guidance sessions with a Sightable Guide. These sessions are purchased separately from your Sightable membership.
The availability, duration and price of a guidance session will be explained before you book.
Guidance sessions can be used to help you understand financial planning concepts, work through your financial model, explore different possibilities and improve your understanding of the choices available to you.
Sightable Guides do not provide regulated financial advice or personal recommendations as part of the Sightable guidance service.
A Sightable Guide will not tell you which investment, pension, financial product or course of action you should choose.
Where your question requires regulated financial advice or another form of professional advice, the Guide may explain that Sightable cannot provide that service and may suggest that you seek appropriate professional advice.
Cancelling or Rearranging a Guidance Session
If you need to cancel or rearrange a guidance session, you may do so without charge provided that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
If you cancel or rearrange a session with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not attend a booked session, the session will normally be treated as used. If you wish to book another session, a further session will therefore need to be purchased.
We recognise that unexpected circumstances can arise and may, at our discretion, waive this requirement where we consider there to be reasonable extenuating circumstances.
If we need to cancel or rearrange a session, you will not lose the session you have purchased and we will offer you an alternative appointment.
- No Guarantee of Outcomes
Sightable is designed to improve financial understanding, visibility and confidence.
We cannot guarantee that using Sightable will produce a particular financial outcome, investment return, retirement income or other result.
Financial outcomes are affected by circumstances and events that cannot be predicted or controlled, including investment performance, inflation, interest rates, taxation, legislation, personal circumstances and longevity.
- Your Responsibilities
When using Sightable, you agree to:
- provide accurate information where this is necessary for the service;
- use reasonable care when entering information into financial models;
- keep your account secure;
- use Sightable only for the personal or household purposes permitted by these Terms;
- comply with applicable laws and these Terms & Conditions; and
- make your own decisions about whether and how to act on information you obtain through Sightable.
You are responsible for deciding whether you have sufficient knowledge and confidence to make a financial decision yourself or whether you should obtain professional advice.
- Intellectual Property
The Sightable website, educational content, videos, written material, planning frameworks, methodology, graphics, branding, IMS knowledge resources and other materials made available through Sightable are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property law.
Your membership gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use Sightable for the personal and household purposes permitted under these Terms during your membership.
You may download or print materials where we expressly make them available for that purpose.
You must not, without our prior written permission:
- copy, reproduce or republish substantial parts of Sightable;
- distribute Sightable content to other people;
- sell, sublicense or commercially exploit our content;
- record or redistribute Sightable courses or guidance sessions;
- use Sightable material to create or train another commercial product, service or artificial intelligence system; or
- attempt to extract, reproduce or systematically collect the underlying content or knowledge resources used by IMS.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
- Acceptable Use
You must not use Sightable in a way that:
- is unlawful or fraudulent;
- infringes another person’s rights;
- compromises the security or operation of the platform;
- introduces malicious software;
- attempts to gain unauthorised access to Sightable or related systems;
- places an unreasonable technical burden on the service; or
- enables unauthorised commercial exploitation of Sightable or its content.
We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these requirements have been seriously breached.
- Statutory Cancellation Rights
Depending on the nature of the content or service you purchase, you may have a statutory right to cancel your contract within 14 days.
Sightable membership provides immediate access to digital content and services. Where required, before providing immediate access we will ask you to expressly request that supply begins during the 14-day cancellation period and to acknowledge the effect this may have on your statutory cancellation rights.
In particular, where digital content is supplied immediately with your express consent and you have acknowledged that your cancellation right will be lost when supply begins, you may lose the statutory right to cancel that digital content once access has started.
Different rules may apply to services supplied as part of your membership. Where you retain a statutory cancellation right and cancel after expressly requesting that a service begins during the cancellation period, we may charge a proportionate amount for services already supplied where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any cancellation, refund or other consumer rights you have by law.
Further details are provided in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- Cancelling Automatic Renewal
You may turn off automatic renewal at any time before your next renewal date using the cancellation method made available through your account or by contacting us at support@sightable.co.uk.
Turning off automatic renewal does not end your current membership early. Your membership will continue until the end of the period for which you have already paid and will then expire.
Cancelling automatic renewal is different from exercising any statutory right to cancel a contract or making a claim under the Sightable 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
- Sightable 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
In addition to any statutory cancellation rights you may have, Sightable offers a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee on your initial Sightable membership.
If, within 30 days of purchasing your initial membership, you decide that Sightable is not right for you, you may contact us to request a refund.
The guarantee is intended to give you a reasonable opportunity to explore Sightable and decide whether it is suitable for you. It is not intended to allow substantial use or completion of the programme followed by a refund request.
We therefore reserve the right to decline a refund under the 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee where you have accessed or completed more than 50% of the educational content included within your Sightable pathway before requesting the refund.
The 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee applies only to your initial Sightable membership purchase. It does not apply again to:
- annual membership renewals;
- pathway upgrades or changes; or
- separately purchased one-to-one guidance sessions.
Use of VoyantGo or IMS does not, by itself, determine whether you qualify for the 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. The 50% threshold relates to the educational content within your Sightable pathway.
This guarantee is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not limit or replace them.
- Refunds
Refunds will be provided where required by law or where you qualify under the Sightable 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
Any refund under the 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee will normally be made using the same payment method used for your original purchase.
Any separate charges for one-to-one guidance sessions or pathway upgrades are not included within a refund of your initial membership unless required by law.
Further information is contained in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.
- Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Sightable where:
- you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms & Conditions;
- you use Sightable fraudulently or unlawfully;
- you share or commercially exploit access without permission;
- your actions materially threaten the security or operation of the service; or
- payment legitimately due for your membership remains unpaid.
Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to remedy a breach before terminating your membership.
We will not use this provision to remove your paid access arbitrarily.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
- Our Responsibility to You
We are responsible for providing Sightable with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with your statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or that result from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Sightable is supplied to consumers for personal use. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings arising from business or commercial use of Sightable.
The limitations described in this section do not affect any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under consumer law.
- Third-Party Services
Sightable relies on certain third-party services and technology to deliver parts of the platform. These may include payment processing, website hosting, financial modelling, communications and artificial intelligence technology.
We select and manage third-party providers with reasonable care but are not responsible for events wholly outside our reasonable control.
Where your use of a third-party service is subject to separate terms, we will make this clear where appropriate.
Information about how personal information may be shared with service providers is contained in our Privacy Notice.
- Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
Because Sightable allows you to explore your own or your household’s financial circumstances, information you enter may also relate to your spouse or partner.
You should consider carefully what information you choose to enter into Sightable, VoyantGo and IMS and should only provide information about another person where you have an appropriate reason and authority to do so.
Our Privacy Notice explains in more detail how personal information is handled.
- Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary, for example because of changes to the law, regulation, technology, the Sightable service or the third-party services on which Sightable relies.
Where a change materially affects an existing membership, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.
We will not use this provision to make material changes to the service you have already purchased without regard to your statutory rights.
The version of the Terms & Conditions currently in force will be available on the Sightable website.
- Complaints and Contacting Us
If you have a problem with Sightable or are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us so that we have the opportunity to resolve it.
You can contact us at:
VFE Group Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Complaints relating to Sightable therefore do not fall within the Financial Ombudsman Service’s jurisdiction simply by virtue of being a Sightable complaint.
This does not affect any rights or remedies available to you under consumer law.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in another part of the United Kingdom, you will retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you and may be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any legal rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
- General
These Terms & Conditions, together with the information provided to you when you purchase your membership and any policies expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between you and us concerning your Sightable membership.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.
